Enchanting Lapland
Meet Santa Claus in Lapland this Christmas and enjoy an action packed day trip to Enontekio with husky and reindeer sleigh rides galore.
Your Journey To Visit Santa in Lapland Begins
Leaving the UK between 7 and 8am, the excitement builds as you relax onboard the aircraft. It takes 3 ½ hours to fly to Enontekio; breakfast will be served, and during the flight with the cooperation of the cabin crew, there will be a chance to sing some Christmas songs to get you in the festive spirit. So please bring along the song sheets, which will be available in the Customer Portal.
Once the aircraft has landed, please follow the ground staff and an Elf or two to passport countrol, and on to the clothing room, where we’ll provide you with thermal snow suits and boots to keep you warm throughout the day. Then, it’s time to head to the beautiful activity location set beside a frozen lake shore by snowmobile and sleigh.
All in all, weather-permitting, you’ll be in Lapland for around 5.30 to 6 hours.

Once at the venue you can relax and enjoy the magic of this amazing winter wonderland.
Learn to drive a snowmobile (suitable for adults and children alike – subject to height restrictions).
Children will love trying out our special Stiga toboggans, which offer greater steering ability for enchanced enjoyment.
Enter the snow igloo to see stunning ice sculptures and tables made of ice, and sample some traditional hot berry juice. No journey to Lapland would be complete without experiencing a traditional sleigh ride pulled by either a team of huskies or Santa’s faithful reindeer. Enjoy the magic of both on this day trip.
Yet where will you find Santa Claus?
Well, a snowmobile and sleigh will transport you to his home in the forest. Your meeting with Father Christmas, who knows that you have travelled from afar is carefully organised by Santa’s Helper. Each child will receive a gift from Santa.
Lunch is available throughout the day and the menu typically includes soup, baked potatoes with either a meat or vegetarian filling, pasta, and a sweet dessert of pancakes and jam.
There is a small gift shop in the village, however as this is an authentic and remote location, remember to bring snacks with you, as there is nowhere to purchase such items in the village.
After a Fun-Filled Day it’s Time to Head Home
Finally, after realising the dream of meeting Santa it’s time to go home. Board the coach for the short journey to Enontekio Airport leaving Santa and his helpers to continue with their important duties.
Dinner will be served during your return flight, then it’s time to rest, relax and reflect on your fun-filled day in Lapland. Your return flight will land at approximately 10 pm.
